I'm already starting to get the screen prepared to the way I want it

Something worth trying to save yourself on sanding time is to tape your analog stick and dpad in place from the front. And I mean cover it in tape so that when you apply your abs from the back it will be smooth on the front without so much excess to sand later.

Thanks for the tip. I've try to use regular clear tape before but it doesn't hold good enough but electric tape works better and it doesn't leave any sticky residue like the clear tape:D

Im getting the controller board the way I want it to sit on the back of the screen

I had alot of trouble with it but I've eventually got it right I'm satisfy with it now
All that's left to do is wire up.the controller, screen, batteries and the audio board and speakers

Case work looks slick. Controller+pack wiring is neat as well. Looks great so far!
Thanks rewiring the controller pack almost took me an hour and my frankencase skills have gotten better over the years

Here's a little update i got the controller wired up except for L,R, and Z buttons I'll do that once I rewire the cartridge slot and also a special thanks to @Noah for the joystick converter everything is looking good so far

This project is so awesome. One of the cleanest GBA portables I’ve seen. Keep it up!

Thanks as long you have thinner wires everything comes out clean and organized but my wiring isn't as clean as the other members but it's something :)

It's finally complete here's the last few internal pics I've decided to keep the screen control inside the case since I didn't feel like drilling holes in front of the case but overall I enjoy building this portable :)

Love the paint. What type of paint did you use for such a smooth finish?
