A small update:

This is still far from being completed. I'm experimenting with the dimensions and so on. But I'm also happy with the results so far. Next step will be the main case (grey) and all the supports in it. The controllers are mostly finished and just need to be printed in the right color ;) (and of course in a better quality!).
Hope you like it as much as I do :)

It looks really neat! Are you going to make a dock to play the big screen? (Congratulations regarding your marriage btw.)

Thank you all ;)

I am not planning to make a dock by now. But the idea is interesting:ding!:

How are you planning to keep the console this thin?

Unfortunately this time I won't get it this thin... On the picture it is half of the size, the backside is missing. Should have made this clear from the start >.< .
You can see the real thickness in this post.

Still pretty damn thin if you ask me! :P

I'm going to print it in the right color (no painting :) )
The main part will be carbon black and the controller grey / silver.

I put some more work into the case:

I would really like to call it Swiitch. Because ... reasons xD. It looks like a switch (to a certain degree) and contains a Wii.
But I have a bad feeling because the name is already in use

Edit: It does not look fancy or so. But I think it will work. And thats whats important for me. (And nobody will look inside when it's finished:D)

This looks really good! Are you planning on using a micro SD to USB converter of some sort?

I bought mine prior for this reason. Make my own portables that I can be proud of :)
It was worth it except for the fact that this is my first portable with it xD
I printed so many other things so far... xD

I'll watch this till the end. I'm not gonna miss this.

Such awesomeness!

Heey, that's an awesome work, did you tink of adding a HDMI port or some sort of video input? Is always nice to have a second monitor wherever you go.
