You shouldn’t bump threads that are over three years old. If you have your own question you should make a thread about that. However, to answer your question; there is not really a difference, but back in the day you never were able to charge through the same port and play at the same time. The above circuit allowed for the portable to be powered from AC wall power whilst another charger (usually a lithium ion smart charger) charged the batteries, allowing for “charge and play”. This is now redundant with the introduction of newer BQ chips that allow playing and charging through the same port. The RVL-PMS available on the store uses one of these so you don’t need two ports.Sorry to ask such a silly question. What is the difference between charger port and AC adapter port?
