Worklog Gman's Wii portable

2.47v according to my multimeter. This is the 10k resistor between the button and the transistor
Sorry, I meant the 100k one. Anyway you should test the voltage on the button too.

So the circuit works when I disconnect it from the screen button and just touch the wire to ground. I guess I could use the audio amp volume button as the sync button. I dont think activating the sync randomly should mess anything up right?

Hmm I don't thin that it could cause any problems, but I don't know how pressing repeatedly the sync button will affect power consumption

Ok wired it up and the bluetooth is not activating sync. I can confirm bluetooth is functional. It goes from 0v to 3.3v as desired. Looked at a stock board and there is a 10k pullup on the bluetooth that I didnt relocate to the bluetooth module but we did add the pullup on the transistor so idk.

Are you sure it is a pullup?

Wow Gman, why's your work so clean? On a serious note though your work is great!
I can't imagine how this thing is gonna be when finished.

Haha thanks. I've done clean work before but I would not describe this as clean lmao. Either way, it works :)

Did you use one of the volume switches?
Yeah, the circuit is functioning but it isnt activating the sync correctly for some reason.

Also you like those audio filters I stole from another Wii @Shank?

I didn't and still don't notice. To which audio filters are you referring?
Also, this portable is looking amazing so far

I cut off the audio filtering caps from a dead Wii and wired them in. They are located right next to the audio amp from the shielded wires.

Cleaned up the rat's nest :awesome:
Quick question, did you cut the pcbs off the end of the wifi antenna wires?
Ok you got me, I did not know the wifi antennas clipped on, so I cut them while I was figuring out my case. I will be reattaching them eventually

Also cleaned up my wiring a bit.
