Question Wii gc ports

Hi,
So i destroyed my previous wii (i cut a trace by accident while relocating the u10) and got a new one. It is a rev 60. It has a big problem though, when i connect a gamecube controller it just shuts off, almost like something shorts. The controller works fine on a gamecube or wii u. (using smash adaptor) Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Interesting. Does this happen with all ports? Have you examined the board to see if there are any anomalies? Good clear pictures would be helpful

Yes, it happens on all ports. Ill add some pictures now.
Edit: gc controller isnt working on gc anymore, ill take it apart first

Okay aftrer taking my gc controller apart i found out that it has an internal an internel short between the data line and ground 50% of the time, depending on how i hold it. I will try with my gc+ in a few hours
