Hello,
This is my second wii portable, which was a frankencase, I bought a 3D printer and tried to learn how to design.
It is a quite simple, but I like it.

Features:
Wii PMS,
U-Amp,
usb-c breakout board,
7" Eyoyo ips vga display,
6x3400mAh removable batteries ~75Wh, so, 6-7 hours battery life.
Custom L+R mechanism.

It is quite big: 256*115*37mm, not so easily transportable but it is nice to play with it.

For the L/R button I 3d printed something that works/feel quite good, the 1st row replace the analog part, is a squishy button and the second one is a regular clicky one.

I really love the screen, the last portable I made was with the L7009 and the viewing angles, especially from the bottom are not that great. On this one, they are amazing. And the price tag is really correct at 52$. However, the control board is quite big.

I cleaned up the 3v3 and 5v wires to the screen but that's the last pic oppened I got.

Edit: I want to thank everyone that helped me!
Expecially Gman and GingerOfOz for their 3d models that helped me begin with the modelling of the case.
Gman for the wii PMS.
Aurelio for the awesome BBLoader and GC+.
Every one else for my questions!

Awesome job! The screen looks crisp, and the colors really pop. This is everything the Waluigii v1 wished it could have been! Keep up the great work!

I like your chonk boi

Pretty good job, I like the screen the viewing angle are amazing and battery time is :o 7h !
Do you have a link for the display ? I think it can be a perfect must have for my 7inch O-Wii, the screen I have used is pretty cheap.
Your custom design for the L R look good, by the use how it feel ?

Thank you!
It is an Eyoyo screen, those are amazing, however it is not used that much since the controller board is quite tick/wide.

The LR feel quite good, but the click need more force to press than the original controller, since the squishy tact has to be squeezed more.
I try a similar mounting design but with the dual activation switches in the end and it looks quite promising (although less legit).

thanks for the link, yes the board look big.
I love trimming thing, so I think I wiil go to order one and watch if I can trim the board smaller

For the L R that's what I thought.
For having used the dual tacts in my wii I find it rather good but surely less precise than using the system with two tacts mounted one on the other.

Thank you!

Hello, would you have any pictures of the board on this screen? I'm going to build another Portable PS2 and I'm looking to use a screen like that

Hello, these are picture of the board, keep in mind that it is quite tick.
It is easy to conver to 5v tho.

I've moved the capacitors with wires on mine to gain a bit of thickness on mine and it is working fine.

Well, I've never done ps2 modding, but I read there were some compatibility issues with vga and the PS2, the screen would have to support it.

Anyway, here is what I had to do to use 5V.
