Question wii mote not syncing

Hey guys,
Im testing my bluetooth on an untrimmed wii mobo with pins 2 & 17 shorted on the MX chip.

I have pin 12 of the BT connected to a tac switch which then connects to 3.3v terminal but cant get a new mote to sync when pressing the button on the tac and the red button on the mote.

Any ideas?

Wii remotes normally don't sync during homebrew. Try syncing in the Wii Menu

If i use an unsynced wiimote,i can't enter the wii menu(i don't have a gc+ controller),how can i fix it?Thanks

Hold reset while booting to load priiloader. Once it's loaded, wait more than 15 seconds and press reset again, it will boot into the system menu
