How long are your wires you are running to the USB? They may be catching interference. IIRC, Gman solved his issues with this by either shortening or shielding the wires, but it would be easier and likely just as effective to twist the two USB data lines together, since they are differential signals.

Twisting the wires didn't do anything unfortunately. I can boot into Priiloader and go into the HBC but no apps will show.
 
Yeah, we tried that a couple of times.

Which pair is the pair you're supposed to boot off of? 2 and 3 or 6 and 7?
 
Alright new change. The drive initializes but still does not boot into portablizemii. I can boot into Priiloader with no issues though.
 
That means that the USB is not wired correctly. Check your wirings (also if the data lines are inverted)
 
Still no luck. I've tried swapping them and braiding them. The drive initializes as if it's turning on but after the initial light it does nothing and PortablizeMii doesn't boot
 
Nah if it worked before then the problem is elsewhere... Can you post a picture of your wirings?
