Bluetooth install gone wrong. Am I out of luck?

I decided to finally install the last optional component of the GBoy after all these years and now I wish I hadn’t

i tried the install with my wiis Bluetooth chip, but I noticed it was a different revision than the one pictured in the guide. I also couldn’t get it working, so I put it off

fast forward to yesterday and I harvested the matching bluetooth from another Wii, but after installing it, I got nothing but a black screen. At one point I did get it to boot again which gave me hope that i wasn’t really messing with anything that could be fatal.
Now after a few attempts with no luck, I can’t get the Wii to boot anymore. Even after completely removing the chip. I don’t see any reason this could happen. Can the Bluetooth chip fry the cpu? It seems the GBoy boards are all behaving as expected, but it’s as if I failed the Wii trim and it’s bricked.
any guesses to help me get this Wii booting again?

It's basically impossible to draw any conclusions without pictures. Posting several, clear, in-focus, detailed photos can help a lot.

I realize seeing no pictures on what appears to be a lengthy troubleshooting post isnt ideal, but I dont actually have a working phone camera at the moment and Im at the point where Im simply assuming its bricked unless there is some common recurring issue with these installs. other than that my question at this point is simply whether the CPU should function regardless of wether the 2 traces you solder the BT module to are intact or not.

If that is the only defect and the BT lines aren't shorted against each other or anything else, then yeah the board should boot
