Question how to use usb type c as charge port on portable

i want to put a usb c charge/play port in my portable, i have seen some portables with usb type c and im wondering if it is as easy as just buying a usb c female pcb like this one (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/USB...ket-With-PCB-board-connector/32795367320.html) or if i need a custom pcb like the one in aurelio's piizza 1.5 portable

Very much custom. USB C isn't plug and play, you definitely need a custom PCB for it.

ok, and is there a usb c board that is publically available you can link me to. or will i have to try to make my own?

With complete USB-C charging in portables, in additional to the Power Delivery controller, you also need a battery charging circuit. PD only supplies a DC voltage which cannot be used to directly charge the batteries.
