Over the past few days I have been in discussion with our webhost. Thanks to @cheese we have now moved over to HTTPS. This will be super helpful for when the store comes out so that your information is encrypted end-to-end. I am working on finishing things up with the move and will soon be making a permanent redirect so that everyone uses HTTPS when coming to the site. If you see a page that still has HTTP elements (you really have to know what you're looking for, so don't go out of your way to find them) just send me a PM and I'll get it patched right away!

Thanks!

If any images come up broken (aka look like this:

) just PM him the page and we will look into it. If you upload images to imgur, they have an option to get the images securely by simply changing the http in the beginning of the url to https (there is an option in ShareX if you use it, change Task Settings -> Advanced -> ResultForceHTTPS to True)

I'm really impressed with all the work you've been putting into this site. It's awesome. Thanks for the hard work!

TOTALLY GOT MYSELF BLOCKED FROM IMGUR LMAOOOOOOOO
They hate me because of all the images I tried to upload from other sites when going through all these images

loljk once I refreshed the 1000000th time it worked again

BUT PLEASE EVERYONE USE THE SITE'S UPLOAD FUNCTION IT IS SO MUCH EASIER ON ME THE SLAVE

I have gone through about 99% of the site and updated almost every picture to be a HTTPS link. (I have not gotten to Shank's wii stuff yet, that has 60+ pictures per post, and I don't have the willpower to fix all of them yet)
(For chrome)
If you see this:

instead of this:

Please PM me a link to the page.

I feel less insecure already!

If you want, I can help with that. I will say that although my Wii stuff was nice at the time to get it out there, its far from perfect in its current state. If we can make it all obsolete by moving all the info over to the wiki, (a task I will be contributing to) then I have no problem with pulling the plug on my threads. That is, unless, there is a reason to keep them alive.

Let me know if you need help doing anything! I will try scouring the site and see if I can find anything insecure.

I found some on the home page of the site(i.e https://bitbuilt.net/)
http.PNG

I'm using firefox. I don't know if this is the kind of thing you want but just so you know. It looks like they are hidden youtube and twitter icons.

Here is this one as well.

On the same url as above.

That'd be cool, just change the http before your images to https. If you're editing and you click on a picture it gives you the current URL, so you only need to add the one letter and hit enter.

The web host is doing everything they can. Hopefully it'll be sorted out soon. Just hold tight while we wait. Maybe it's a good time to get dedicated hosting huh?

Yeah lmao I could totally fix this shit in minutes if I had access, then again, I wouldn't fuck it up in the first place -_-
