Hey,
the screen I am using for my trimmed Wii just has a composite input but I would love to have an HDMI output port on my console as well. In contrast, the Wii2HDMI adapter needs component output which I get if I would bridge the 3.3v and mode pins.
Is it possible to get both output types at the same time or is the Wii able to switch between the types while running?
If the latter is the case, would it be possible to bridge mode and 3.3v only when there is an hdmi cable connected?
I saw the HDMI connector has a "Hot plug detect" pin. Could you use some logic to get component output when pin 19 has 5v?
