This is a new revision of my UltraWii portable, named UltraWii Sakura!
Huge thanks to @Aurelio for making this portable possible with his direct drive board. This portable would not exist without him.
Here are the specs:
-OMEGA-trimmed Wii motherboard
-1S4P 3500mAh 18650s (~6.25hrs runtime)
-3.5" 640x480 IPS LCD w/ @Aurelio 's direct drive
-All-in-one BMS and reg board with digital audio amp and headphone jack
-Removable microSD card
-USB C PD and Switch charger compatibility
-Requisite RGB LED
-Orange squishy tacts, Switch joysticks, GC+ 2.0 with LRA rumble motor
-Recessed Sync and Reset buttons
-Wrist strap (if you're brave enough lol)
Dimensions: 140 x 75 x 26mm
Quick demo video
Notes:
-The Wii is permanently thermal epoxied onto the heatsink. This is the only way to mount it in such a tight space. Zero issues so far.
-3D printed button plates were replaced with 0.6mm PCBs and orange squishy tacts.
-The only glue used is to secure the USB-SD PCB and GC+ 2.0 to the back of the LCD and to hold the speakers in place
-Only magnet wire crosses between the two case halves. Much better than the prototype!
BMS+Regs+Audio Amp PCB
Edit: Fixed broken images
