Does it show the homebrew list or is it stuck with the WiFi icon blinking?I got a Wii to boot to the homebrew channel without Wifi or Bluetooth, just custom regs and the U10. So far nobody understands why.
nice meme
Oh in that case it is a known thing. It is stuck there because it is waiting for the WiFi module to give its statusWifi icon's blinking. I can't really say for sure on the list considering I don't even have an SD card connected to it.
A modified nintendont version is also needed, to remove every calls to the bluetooth and the wifi modules.Yeah that's what I was gonna say, for strictly Gamecube only Wiis(aka set priiloader to boot to nintendont) this is interesting. It'd probably also be compatible with a modified version of HB channel that doesn't check for wifi, wouldn't it?
Anyways, according to cheese, some Wiis won't boot to anything at all unless the Wifi is connected. So more testing is required I'd say
Still each emulator must be modified...There may be other homebrew launchers out there that we could look at using instead. I'd assume most people would only be interested in your basic set of emulators anyways.
I made a simple homebrew to test it out and yes, it does work without the BT and the WiFi module as long as they are not usedAssuming they make the check to begin with, yes. But has anyone tested that for sure? A simple launcher sounds neat, actually.
There is already flux in your solder (unless you are using a VERY old one)I don't use flux though
