Question Guide for trimming a PS1 (SCPH-5500)

Does anyone know if there is a guide out there for trimming a SCPH-5500 PS1 or is the process essentially the same for each type?

PS1 trimming is going through some advances and a guide should be made within the next 6 months or so is my guess.

Totally! SCPH-50XX units are great for more than just consolizing! I've been doing a lot of work on PU-23 SCPH-90XX boards, which also have a lot of potential for a trim as well. Even if you don't end up making a portable, SCPH-50XX units can be modded with an X-Station and PS1Digital, which is a pretty nice setup!
