Question Wii Portable Battery

So I discovered that you can buy "18650" 3.7V Li-ion cells (5800mah/per cell apparently) for really cheap here in Canada, plus they're quite small. Four of them wired in series can supply 14.8V... a good amount to give to a Wii portable, no?

Wondering if any of you have done this or if it's a good idea to go with these?

18650s are listed in Gman's portablizing BOM, they're a pretty common cell. They're great for portables

Don't get those cells listed as 5800mAh, that capacity is not real. 18650 can be ~3500mAh maximum if made a good manufacturer. Get the ones listed in Gman's BOM and manufactured by Panasonic

Dang it i already ordered them. Worse case scenario they'd be how low capacity?

WOW ok i just wasted $20 because according to reviews they end up being like 1300mah!! I'll try to cancel the order..

Yes, you should. Despite being low capacity they are probably overall unreliable (low discharging current, short life, etc.).
