Question Wii DD controller board trimming

How small can I trim this Wii disk drive controller board in order to play Wii games? I am loading my games from a usb drive and the board needs to be connected to play them.

If you use PortablizeMii, you don't need the disk drive board to play Wii games. It's all done with software on the USB.

What software are you using to run your Wii games? There are options out there (PortablizeMii ) that allow you to run Wii games off of USB without needing the disc drive daughterboard.

So far as trimming, minimal research has been done into it. There aren't any trims for it, so you'd be better off looking for software solutions.

Alright, thanks for the info. For what I’m doing I’m going to stick to usb loader GX. Thanks for all the help though.
