Question Question about board trimming.

As far as I'm aware, the only reason you might need to use portabalizemii is so you dont have to relocate the wifi chip, but I plan to keep wifi functionality in my upcomming mod. Is it possible to do a WTFOMG trim without portabalizemii as long as you reconnect the wifi chip?

I don't see any problem, as long as you also rewire the bluetooth chip. Do you plan on making the VGA mod? I think that's only possible on Wiis running Portablize Mii.

PortablizeMii replaces a few things, if you want normal homebrew (and wii software) to work correctly you will need to relocate Wifi, bluetooth, MX, and you will need to wire the disc drive daughterboard to the main wii board.
