Hi, been lurking for a while trying to consolidate my knowledge so that I can give an Ashida a red hot attempt.

The main gap in my knowledge currently (although I have lots to learn in all areas) is how the pinout for screen works, will this become more obvious when I have the driver board in front of me? Is there something I can read to try and grasp an idea? I'd be using the unit from 4Layers if it helps. Also, would I be right in thinking that if I follow the pinouts given by 4Layers I should be mostly fine for where I need to solder vias etc?

Sorry for the very newby Qs and thanks in advance.
:)

The screen board has the pin designations written in the white silkscreen on the underside of the board. Aside from the 3.3v mod (which has documentation on the 4layertech page for the screen), all you have to do is match the pads on the screen board to the video output locations on the Wii. You can have a read of the old G-Boy Assembly Guide to get an idea of what that'll be like.

EDIT: icy_system posted some great photos earlier of what the new blue screen boards look like. You can check them out here: https://bitbuilt.net/forums/index.php?threads/the-wiicube-my-first-portable.5608/post-60156

Oh yep, just skimmed through that quickly, that makes a lot more sense now. Cheers for the response. Guess I'll wait for 4Layer to stockup and go from there :)
