Hi!
I was in the process of building my PS2 portable thinking everything was ready so I could finally finish it… only to realize that the module managing my 4×18650 cells isn’t powerful enough.
My console consumes, including the screen, amplifier, etc., around 5V ~3A, and it could potentially draw more in the future.
This is the module I was using:
On the output side it can only provide 5V 3A max, which is pretty close to the limit. It can also output 9V and 12V, but only through Power Delivery.
I don’t know much about batteries and BMS circuits, so if someone could shed some light on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
