Just recieved my shells, huge thanks to Yveltal and Ding for making this possible. I will do the nand and AVE relocations on my Wii minis soon, but I'll hold off to see if other modders are interested in a potential PCB group buy. These shells look awesome.

Got my Kawaii shells yesterday and they look beautiful! The whole project turned out amazing, and I'm very glad I was able to get in on the shell order, because these are incredibly well made thanks to Ding and his family.



Can't wait to see more of your work Ding, and thank you to Yveltal and Wesk for the Kawaii in the first place! (And for Yveltal answering my countless questions and providing tons of support with modding overall)

Stuff like this is why I decided not to buy any shells for this at all. I wouldn't be able to decide on just one color and as a result, I'd end up buying multiple beautiful colors like this (something I'd rather not do given my finances haha)! These shells really are beautiful, this is the kind of project I have to avoid looking at too much so I don't regret not buying one lol.

Not at this moment. You'll need to manufacture them yourself.

Wasn't going to mention this until Ding confirmed, but he is making another small batch. Smaller than the last, so expect ~$40 per unit.

@Wesk designed the molds
I'll be milling the molds from graphite and casting billets.
@Ding will be machining a Kawaii out of the billets.
@YveltalGriffin supplied the silver cause he's a badass that has way too much faith in the rest of us.

The last of the graphite arrived today, so the ball's in my court.

For future orders, I encouraged Ding to consider selling the shells directly on AliExpress or Taobao.
