BitBuilt Welcome Thread!

Hello Everyone,

I'm new here. I was told i should try to join communities that are into cool things like electronics so here i am lol. I hope i can learn some really things about retro gaming and mod'ing.

Hello,
I am very happy I could join such a great community. I am planning my first portable project and this will be the perfect place to start my journey.

Well hello there.
I'm currently a computer engineering student with just enough technical knowledge to know that I'm clueless haha.
I love handheld/portable consoles so finding this site was a dream come true. I've modded my gameboy advance and done some homebrew stuff,
and now I'd love to try my hand at building a portable ps2. If anyone knows where I can find info about cutting down a ps2 board, let me know!

Hi. I'm new. Hoping to find a DS Lite shell Scan. Anyone know if Wesk has done one? I didn't see one in the Repository.

Hi there. Looking into GB SP mods, specifically being able to get really good quality shell replacements.

Hi. Just joined. Really interested in turning my Wii into a portable. It really is the best for homebrew and not too shabby at emulation. Lots of people confining them to landfill. Sad really as anything that can be utilized and reused in a different way should be encouraged. Thanks for letting me join.

Greeetings all. Ive become hooked and determined to be able to mod a variety of handhelds and systems. I'm a total newb. Super excited to learn from others here

Hey, new here. Got interest to join after watching Macho Nacho's video on the GC Nano. I don't have too much knowledge about tinkering with electronics but I hope to learn.

Most remotely technical stuff I've done is swapping out RAM or SSDs or HDDs, and installing DVD and FD drives on computers and connecting their wires. No idea how to solder.

Sup fellas

Finally decided to join the discussions on here. Ginger brought me here with his Ashida building video (and subsequently, the Wii trimming guide). I'm currently in the midst of tackling an Ashida build on my own, but I'm trying to plan out as much stuff as I can before I start ordering parts.

Honestly, I have a question that I'd like to post as a new thread, but if anybody here knows the answer - AFAIK, RVLoader doesn't work from an SD Card, but the PMS PD 3 board only supports a micro SD card. It does mention that the SD card then shows up as a USB drive on your PC if you connect the USB-C cable, so I'm wondering if it's the same with the Wii. I'm assuming that, since it only has two data lines (+ and -) that the data is sent to the Wii as a USB as well, and I just wanted to double check that 1) that's the case, and 2) that RVLoader will work when run that way. Otherwise, it would seem to make more sense just buying the PMS PD 2 instead.

Thank you in advance!

hello, as you can probably tell I am a big fan of the GameCube and its games. I came here after watching a bunch of YouTube vids on the subject until the urge to build my own became too much. I am currently working on an Ashida.

Hi,
I absolutely love breathing new life into retro/older consoles. Hoping to get someone to build two PS360 controllers to add to my growing controller collection, so joined up and will be taking a look around. Thanks for having me.

I stumbled across this place in my newest hyperfixation. I tend to prefer to lurk and watch everyone else in amazement, but everything's so cool here I may just get my hands dirty this time 'round!
