My wii is refusing to boot. I hooked up the wii to the pms then hook up the pms-lite to a power supply at 4.05V ish. I hit the button and thr power supply jumps from 0.00a to 0.03-0.07a back to 0.00a. The weird thing is if i unhook everything from the wii the pms has a constant power draw of 0.10ish. So i assume there might be a short on the wii.

Those readings look fine. Probably isn't a permanent short, but I do see some carbonised flux residue on the board that could cause a transient short between logic vias. Clean all the flux off the Wii and PMS with some isopropyl alcohol and see if anything changes

It seems as though you are directly powering the pms with your lab bench psu instead of connecting batteries to the pms. I have had problems occur because of that before and have been advised to not do that as the pms wont function as intenden like that, propably has something to do with the BQ chip doing some funky measuring stuff. Try connecting two 18650s in parallel to the pms and see if that resolves your issue. Could also be that you forgot to patch the wifi out when installing rvloader which you hopefully did beforehand.

Thank you, it was the battery's that was the issue along with the ground wire going to the wii's video cable connector. But now on to smaller issues, rvloader and any game that works doesn't take up the entire screen, When I boot up a game the screen goes blue.

On some games, first party nintendo games, I can get to boot by holding a but on other games I just goes black.

Im not really sure if those games implement it, but it could be something to do with the progressive scan and some games not being able to support it. According to the nintendont compatibility list, hitman 2 silent assasin ntsc hasnt been tested with 480p output so there might be an issue.

I havent really tried playing gc games that much tho, so I can only guess what the problem might be.
Do Wii games work fine? If they also dont work, make sure that rvloader is up to date, that your usb wires are twisted tightly (twist them before attaching them or you might put too much stress on the usb pads) and that your usb wires are relatively short. Also, maybe try out another brand of microsd cards, sandisks tend to be flakey, while samsung evos are pretty much all good.

What you've done is pretty much all you can do in this case. Holding B while booting a game will usually force the progressive scan menu to load if it doesn't load automatically. Pressing A after that should then select progressive scan mode and grant a picture if the game supports it. Even if you set the display mode to force progressive scan in RVLoader you will still have to deal with the progressive scan ingame menu displaying in interlaced on some titles
