I really love the Noldendo Miicro project made by Nold : Noldendo Miicro Release/Guide
And I thought it would be a good idea to make a "pro" or "deluxe" version, which would improve/change a few things.
The goal is also not to complicate the project too much, there will only be a need for two or three more components.
The mains advantages are :
- Better video quality
- can be use with any 5V or PD charger instead of the big Wii power supply, nice if you don't have one.
- you can better see if the Wii is on with the illuminated button
- you can connect headphones to the audio jack or hi-fi speakers
Changes :
- Added VGA connector
- added 3.5mm audio jack connector
- change PWR ON btn
- added USB-C PD module
- custom design

Jack Audio 3.5mm connector : https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_AgXTH9
Button with backlight : https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Atny9Z
USB-C PD Module (12V) : https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_A0CnNk
Voltage Regulator PTH08080 : https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9uznsj
Enameled copper wires (0.13 mm) : https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9udLb8
RVL PSU :
TLV62130 : https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_ATyjaS
IHLP1212BZER2R2M11 : https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_AUOdBG
Features/Guide :
- The VGA connector improve a lot the video quality, to solder it you require to :
1 - enable the VGA in RVloader
2 - Connect some wires between the connector and the Wii Motherboard
H-Sync in grey, V-Sync in Purple
You also need to connect these two wire to the AVE chip, like the picture.
- I made a support for the RVL PSU, I put an angle like that it's much easier to solder the wires.
And some holes for better heat dissipation :
- Added USB-C PD module
- Added 3.5 mm audio Jack
- Added Power Button
- Added Sensor bar connector mount : require to be disassembled of the original video out connector and as the plug is upside down, do not forget to connect the polarity correctly.
And for the complete assembly/trim/other links/guide, all are in the Nold guide/release : Noldendo Miicro
3D Files : Wii Miicro Deluxe (remix)
All credit go to Nold that make this awesome design, I just changes some little things.
If you want to see the result in video here it is (French... sorry no English subtitle for now, maybe latter).
