So, I wanted to test my trimmed wii. In order to do so I wired up my wii to the pms lite according to the documents om https://4layertech.com/products/pms2-lite

I've left out the fan, sd-card reader and the light.

I've added the av-cable and connector according to the ginger of vods video
The button is also connected, according to this video.

I've tried to press the button for a few seconds but still don't get any kind of output

Did I bung up something with the wiring? Is my wii dead?

Try wiring in a second battery cradle. Some cells don't supply enough current to boot the system with just one

Did you install RVLoader before trimming and say yes to the no-wifi patch?

Well it might be a dead Wii motherboard. Try disconnecting the Wii from the PMS-Lite. Test the PMS output leads for the proper voltages. If that’s correct, I recommend you used some sand paper again on the Wii motherboard before reconnecting to the PMS.
Try connecting to composites video on the opposite side of the Wii board.

Number 3 the yellow line is composites used the screw post for grounding.

You will need a multimeter for sure. The PMS has the voltage listed on the board.
I had a problem with my batteries. You want to make sure it’s not the PMS nor the batteries.

Grab a multimeter on Amazon or Aliepress

I measured the PMS Lite, everything seemed fine, however, the 1.8v outled said 3.56, pretty much the voltage of the batteries. Is this a problem?
edit: it also puts out this voltage before I bridge the button with a ground.

It's worth asking customer support. It may be a known issue with a user serviceable solution
