Hi Everyone!

I made a handheld N64 called the noyce64 with a 3D printed custom-designed case. My goal with this project was to use as many stock parts as I could and to use parts readily available. I also wanted this project to be an introduction to handhelds so I avoided batteries, board trimming, and more advanced techniques.

I'll just get out ahead of it, the case needs to be sanded, and could probably use some design improvements. I was teaching myself fusion 360 while building this case. It is a little beefy like the original Xbox controllers but is pretty comfortable to play.

This is the link to the tutorial *disclaimer, I don't have an engineering background, I'm just documenting my learning journey of electronics. So feel free to correct anything you see.

Here are the 3D print files and parts list

Hopefully, this tutorial helps someone!
