hi me again on the question of soldering video out, I really don't understand and need some serious help with this, if I am wanting to solder component cables to Wii board but leave component plug at the other end how would I go about doing this, I have looked at diagrams but don't really understand them. Cut one end of the cable off. Strip off the outer coating. 20180108_165624.jpg
Move the copper pieces into a single strand away from the inner wire. 20180108_165645.jpg
Strip the internal wire to the desired length. 20180108_165710.jpg

Tin both wires seperately to keep strands from fanning out. Solder the outer wire strand to ground. Solder the inner wire to composite.

Also, I'd recommend spending a lot of time looking in the Electronics 101 forum that we've got here. There are several great videos and other tools that were very useful to me a year ago, and I'm sure you'd find them beneficial as well!

In the future, please just post again on your thread rather than make a whole new topic to keep clutter from building up. Thanks!

First of all thank you very much for the help, I did wonder if it was as simple as that but didn't really want to try it until I knew it worked, also thank you for the advice on posting and where to find other guides!
