Solved Can't get rumble working on my wii

I have an RVK-02 motherboard that I've added two gc ports to, controller works fine except for rumble. 5V is definitely connected as I've tested everything with a multimeter. Could there be anything I'd be missing with getting it to work? Do I be any chance need the different smd components as well that connect to 5V for the ports?

None of the SMD components from the controller ports are required for rumble. The 5V line for the controller has its own GND connection iirc. If you've only tied a GND to 3.3v you're best to also tie it to the 5v side.

Got it working. Looks like you need both the upper left and bottom right pins connected to ground for it to work. Well I know next time if I ever do this again.
