I've had this idea for a little while now, to retro fit a wii portable into an old scam "gajillion games in one" toy from the late 90's early 2000's, and thought this contest would be a good opportunity to finally do it. I have confidence that I'll be able to pull this off after the success of my last, and first, portable in a wii u gamepad case. The case I've chosen is from a "Betta Mega Calculator Brick Game" and has this cool, kinda goofy, clamshell design.

I've seen videos of it in people's hands and it's pretty small, but nowhere near shanks kill mii or anything so it should be good to cram all the stuff I need in it. It should arrive in the next few days, so ill update on clearances once I have it in my hands.

Ok, all the parts are in but I’ve hit a bit of a snag. The driver board that came with the screen I’m using is a little too big. If anyone is familiar with this board and can say how much is safe to remove I’d appreciate it. If not I can buy a smaller one, probably the one that 4layer tech sells, but money isn’t exactly plentiful right now and if I can avoid another big spend I’d like to.

I don't know if this is too late, but looking at your board and after a little research I don't think there is much you can trim off without beginning to relocate components. I couldn't find any pictures of the back of the board, and I don't have one, so I don't exactly know where the traces run.
