HELP ps2 adapter to hdmi random screen blackout

Hello guys, my ps2 portable have one adapter to hdmi, and the screen is flashing black, anyone can help me?

How can a screen flash black? Also, it is most likely the adaptor. A lot of those hdmi adaptors are complete junk.

If it doesn't flash when using the normal cable, it's probably the converter. They're known for being iffy.

If you see that the adapter works on the internet, it doesn't mean that it can't be the adapter. If you only get this problem with the adapter it is almost certainly the adapter. It might be the video encoder of your PS2 but this is highly unlikely. It is probably just a bad unit. I suggest you buy another one from another seller and replace the old one. It should work fine then.
