What solutions exist for improving the video output quality of the Wii?

GCVideo DVI is the only publicly available option that I'd recommend. BBVideo is currently in the prototyping stage and we should being regular production in a few weeks so if you're not in a hurry I'd sit tight for that to be released.

GC video isn't a scaler though.

Thank you both. @Diminuendo , I wasn't looking exclusively at scalers, but thanks for clarifying. I'll look through those, but I'm thinking I'll likely wait for the BBvideo

Just remember that external scalers like the framemeister have frame lag that can make 1-4 frame inputs very hard if not impossible.
