So i made a component mod to my wii,but i broke the wii dvd drive flex cable connector, so there is a way to patch the drive without having to install portmii?

you don't need the wii to Turn on the wii, it will still turn on,
so just unplug it and install pm

Use neek2o. It emulates the drive so you can use the system as normal without a drive.
