Hey everyone!

There's so many amazing projects floating around on the forums, and so many talented individuals contribute to our amazing community every day. This question popped into my head, and I thought it'd be a great to make a thread for everyone to share what you think your greatest achievement in the portabilizing community is so far!

To preface, no achievement or contribution is too small! Please feel free to comment even if you've only done something you think is simple. Everyone is welcome to share, and feel free to provide images or video!

If you haven't done anything yet, or prefer to be humble and not brag, then I have an alternative question: what is your favorite contribution from someone else in the community?

I'll start: currently I think my greatest contribution to the community so far is my PSXpress docs & designs, despite not being fully completed. I put a lot of work into them, and I'm extremely happy that some people here have managed to make use of them to create their own projects! Hopefully I'll return to finish that project sometime in the future!

I managed to make 3 untrimmed Wii's start smoking unintentionally
One still works perfectly and I have no idea why it even smoked

This is a tough one...mainly because I don't have much I've actually completed lol

Honestly, though, my best contribution to the portabilising scene so far is likely the mxHound.

LOLWUN, just to show that the A5X SoC isnt completely worthless.

I would have to say trying to help people back in the day with simple questions they had as I was learning things!

My favorite contribution would have to be the OG PM and RVLoader as wii portables would be a fair bit more difficult on the software side if it weren't for these contributions. Also anything that anybody has open sourced as it's a great resource for those who want to get into making custom things!

People can read my logs and find out all the ways not to do something because it seems I killed and inordinate number of consoles ;)

EDIT: Oh, and fantastic things to do with a Wii U gamepad!

Wait, I thought these forums were just for us to leech off of other people's work and documentation. We actually have to contribute in some way!?

Joking aside, I've sold/given away 3d printing cases for people here and there, my worklogs (so people can learn what I did right and wrong), my custom (albeit dogshit) n64 controller FRAM PCB, and the release of the Cyxty Four are all things I've contributed to the community.

Certainly not much when compared to the likes of Wesk or Shockslayer, but I'm happy with the fact that I've at least given back in some small way.

I nominate Shank, Bentomo, Gman, Shockslayer, and Nold for making the compendium. It is one of the most important resources of information that still hold up til this day. No omega trims or other modern builds/projects would exist without it.

I guess this wouldn't be a bad place or time to mention the N64 compendium I made. It's likely the biggest contribution I've made for the community now.

So... my best friend (who is not on bitbuilt) came up with this.
dmg2.webp

I don't think I need to explain why this needs to exist. It just does.
