Boom thank you Wesk it worked. As for the double image circled in red any clue on why that’s happening, I shielded every signal wire to ground.

Give swaping from composite to vga a test, I get a weird issue on one of those 5” lcds and the black driver board vga looks messed up on boot but swapping inputs cleans it up

Those double lines are from deinterlacing the 480i signal.
I had the same lines when trying to play my pal version of Super Mario Sunshine via VGA.

I'm don't really know much about the ps2, but if you get a 480p output it should be fine.
Is it just the menu or do games have the same issue?

Did you solve the problem ? what was the failure ?

What screen and driverboard are you using?
It might work with another one

maybe an OPL or FMCB setting to adjust the resolution or image output

Are you using a pal console? Not sure if that makes a difference with the driver board. Do you have your wires shielded like twisted pairs for rgb and composite? H/V sync shouldn’t be twisted

Not a pal and yes wires twisted I also have h/v twisted, I’ll open it up tonight and untwist them and test again.
