Question u10 relocation

is the trace i have to cut for u10 s new spot the same place on a 6 layer motherboard?

but i cant see the wire outline on the board. if i keep scratching will i hit it eventually?

Best way is to follow the trace until it eventually goes to a via, then you can use a multimeter to check for continuity between the pad and the via. You just cut the trace until there is no longer continuity. It doesn't take a ton of force.

Does your board look like this? I don't see any traces either

Correct me if I am wrong, but does the U5 Pad connect C2 and then to the Via?

I cut where the Blue line is and am no longer getting continuity between the via and the C2 pad. Is that an OK cut or should I extend it/change it?

Edit: I'm getting no continuity between the U5 Pad and the via. I assume this is what we want to happen but a yes or no would be appreciated.
