Also in my experience, the build will probably end up costing much more than $300, even with cheaper components. If it is your first time building a wii portable, I’d recommend having a larger budget than $300 for mistakes and accidents that will occur along the way. I ended up spending around $450 on my ashida, (not including the cost of tools) just due to all the beginner mistakes I made.
You don't need the U10 component as the PMS2 has a U10 pad you can solder to that replaces the need for a U10 relocation. There are ways to relocate U10 wirelessly though, here's an example:heres the pic

That's definitely on the hot side. I solder at 327C or 622F which is quite a bit lower. I've got a guide on Wii micro soldering that might help with this, it recommends good equipment, settings such as temp to solder at, and covers most of the really difficult and tiny solder points.well... i looked back later and figured out it was at like 450c... I guess I forgot to lower it lol
