Have you connected it to 3v? Because ACK and DAT need to be connected to pull-up resistors.

I might be a little late on this but those connections definitely need to be cleaned up. I can see you're using flux but you need to clean it up with some 99% IPA.

Also if your soldering iron has temp control, what are you running it at? It looks like you're keeping the iron on the joints too long. Make sure your bigger wires (i.e. 3v3 and Ground etc.) Are stripped appropriately without exposing too much bare wire.

I do hope this helps as I've definitely run into issues in the past myself due to not cleaning.
