Hey all! I've been following the trimming guide, as well as a few others between the forums and the world wide web, but this one's got me stumped. I wired up my FMCB memory card to my trimmed board (790001, if it matters) and when 3.5v is applied, the chip on the memory card gets excruciatingly hot (like, burnt my finger hot!) And the PS2/ display no longer power on until 3.5v is removed from the mem card.
I've checked for continuity/shorts between any of my connections, and I've tried soldering to both mem card slots to no avail. I've photographed my wiring between both to hopefully make discerning my wiring easier. Any advice would be so greatly appreciated
