So,running out of ideas guys,I even switch to u10 emulation and I'm properly getting 3.3V,cleaned a little bit and checked the cables, but nothing seems wrong.Any sugestions please?
Heyo all, back from the dead, got a new Wii, everything is working fine, until I shutdown the thing and at the next boot,my buttons won't work(again). Is there anybody who have a similaire problem ?'Cause I reeeaaaaalllly need help on this one
Edit:Weird thing, sometimes when I change the wire it re-works well until the next shutdown.
Hey yo all, back from the dead
It's been a long and hard road to finish this thing and I can officially says that it's finally over !
And dang I love this thing,I'm so happy that I can play my on my portable wii after 2 years of strugling, itmay nothave the best screen,it may just have a composite video,no bluetooth and no mx chip, but, Hey, I made it myself so I still like this a lot !
Here is a quick look of the inside:
-It uses 2 3500Mah shell,so it's enough for a good play of Mario kart wii
-Got the original gboy screen with a composite output, not the best but still quite good
-Have a brand new GC+2,(again) another wii
-I have performed a wifi relocation but,fun fact, the wifi chip is bumping against the parts of the screen so I just get it off ¯\\_(ツ)\_/¯
During all this project I have improved more and more my skills in electronics, but, still learn the hard way by destroying (too) much things (Rip to the 4 last wiis and GC2+ breakput boards, some shoulder buttons boards too,lot of joysticks and connectors lol)
I also encounter some problems with 4layertech boards like the 5v output on the pms-2,a not working audio jack output on the uamp and rgb led not working, but, because the boards are a bit old(two years since the buying), and I wad still in leraning phase(so maybe a bit my fault too)I guess I can't really blame them
Even with that,I still have a lot of fun playing wii and gamecube games on it,and it's a super good design really good for my hands
Since the last update(by the way @Stitches,thank for all the advices and, that was not the GC+2,I just endommaged the controller chip on the wii),I changed my case to a brand new one 3d print on my personnal mk3s,I used the Curtis remix of @flux_sniffer and I'm pretty happy of the result !
Here are some other cases that I didn't use because I barely burn them while not aying attention while soldering with the iron solder and because of troubles with the 3d print
(you can recognize the first one that I painted 2 years ago)
So what's after?
I get back on the Wiirtop with a lot of new boards and interior design,I will try to makes a update soon.
Even if I like it a lot,if I have an opportunity to buy the Xii boy Ultra's kit of @Xenii,I will do it to finally play wii sorts and MK Wii online on it without having all the troubles I passed trough during all of this project (You now have more pressure Xenii)
Finally,if anyone want to build one,I can help him,if you have questions or anything or just needed some pieces (still got some boards and others),don't hesitate,it would be a pleasure to help somebody build one with more ease than me lol
And lastly, I want to do special thanks to my friend @Xenii who helped me all along the way with my weird troubles on this thing, defintly the goat
But it's not the only one,I would also thanks @flux_sniffer that provide me advice with his case,@YveltalGriffin that helped me understand the "How the fuck I can run a 12V screen with 5V ?!!" part when I was using the Yqwsyxl vga only screen,@cy who helped me solved some problems with my 3d printer,@Gman who tried to help me with my troubles with 4LT boards(unfortunatly,it was uncessful but thanks anyway)
but also @Customledmods,@Darkside19,@supertazon,@CrazyGadget that responsed to my various and random questions about the led and (again) vga only screen
Sounds like the end,so I'm just gonna say you see ya on the next project!
Yeah finally it's finish ,blue looks defintly good and yes,it's looks pretty crazy to have colored consoles lol.
Yep,hall effect joystick so no drift (I hope )
Oh that might be the reason why so much issues with your sticks. Some Hall Effect ones really don't work well with the GC+
Glad they work now, I hope they will continue to work reliably
