Hi there!
A few weeks ago I designed a simple power supply board for the Nintendo 64.
I used it to power the Matterhorn 64 Core redesign, and I thought it would be nice to open source it for any similar project.

This board is based on the @CrazyGadget's PSU-PLUS which is originally made for the Wii, I simply adapted it for the Nintendo 64 requirements by updating a few things in the way.

Here are some pictures!

This board is a perfect companion for the Matterhorn 64 CORE!

Here are the specs of the N64-PSU:
  • Input voltage from 6V to 18V
  • 3.3V Regulator
  • 5V Regulator
  • Up to 3A per rail
  • 16x25mm form factor
  • Price less than $5 per unit
  • Fully open-source

The GitHub repository can be found here: N64-PSU GitHub repository

Thanks to @CrazyGadget for his initial work, and to @YveltalGriffin for his advice.
Have a nice day and see you next time!

Happy to see you release this! I remember you using this when we tested Matterhorn64 over voice a while back. This is a great little thing to have for mini consoles and or portables without batteries (the latter of which I think the community has been sleeping on). Thanks for releasing it! Might just have to make something with this sometime :D

This is the Department of Unhinged Thermals & Defiant Engineering signing off.
