So I've been working on this casing for my Gamecube Portbale and have the 3D design divided into two parts -- a top, and a bottom. The case is incomplete at the moment, and the project is as well due to me being in school, but I was wondering how people like to link each part together. Here are the two rough designs.

When frankencasing I'll use JB-Weld and Epoxy to secure in some screw posts and just drill a small hole in the back to ensure that they are level. I'm not fancy enough for recessed screws and TBH mine have held up perfectly fine.

You could get someone with a 3D printer to print you either that specific case with screw posts embedded in the print, and then print the top with the same size holes for screwing together. I've been making some enclosures on my printer and I draw the cylinders (screw posts) then extract the center a smaller diameter then screw size, and then the screw grabs the ABS pretty well.
