Here's the humble beginnings of my project starting with a PCB paper cut-out. I ordered components for power regulation slated for Thursday delivery. I will call this board "One for All".

Just a question. Where will you get 5v for Usb?

It isn't a hand held so that's right from my wall charger.

Almost done with this thing.. Just going to double check some measurements. I have ordered all the parts as far as I know. I will be making a PCB for a front access USB and Micro SD and a back PCB with video/audio output. I was thinking about going with component to allow it to be paired with a retro tink to crank it up to 4k one day.

Awesome board, very clean. How do you plan on mounting a heatsink? Looks like a tight fit with just that little hole cut out for the CPU/GPU.

I'm going to trim some finned aluminum and the fan will go at the actual air vent.

Welp, my N-channel mosfet works with the switch but I get no voltage out of my regulators. I think I need some help from an electrical engineer.

My diodes were backwards...... Apparently I just don't understand the full concept. I had the negative bar on the ground side, but when I checked the manufacturer's data sheets the negative was facing away from the grounds.

Edit: Got this done later in the day. The PCBs showed up in the mail.

Slow and steady. Going to set up all the wires then attach the connections PCB.

Going to see how many wires I can connect to this board today. Had to trim it because it was blocking 2 MX vias. I'll have to modify the PCB more when I get the chance but I'm going ahead with this one for now.

Update: 2/11/23 7:12 EST

Just need to do the SD card wires now.

Got the heatsink and power on there. Just need to do a test run after attaching the 2 Bluetooth wires.

No video output . Checked my data connections and those are good. I have 4.2V on my 3.3 which cannot be remotely good. This is a board with only homebrew on it and no RVloader. I have the wifi and bluetooth going so those should be fine. I hope that 4.2v didn't toast anything.

Edit: I have just now ordered a new 44.2Kohm resistor for RFB2 as well as a longer 26 pos .5 pitch ffc cable. Shipped economy, of course.
