This is a worklog for my first self designed Wii portable. After completing a GWii I realized I really enjoy this hobby and would love to feel the satisfaction of creating my own portable. I don't really want to talk about the design (I do know what I want to make) or name yet as I'm not too far along in the project, but I did want to go ahead and start a worklog to make it clear I've started working on it for any future competitions.
The goal for this project is to develop my skills in multiple areas. These include:
- PCB Design
- Fusion 360
- 3D Printing
- Lua Coding (possibly)
As I'm currently developing my CAD skills I'm hoping to have the case done around Mid-September and will post pictures as well as update the portables name.
Update - Obviously my September goal wasn't met. Right now I'm essentially doing school 10 hours a day, and the last thing I usually end up doing is CAD lessons. Hopefully I'll have something to show around the end of October, but I'm really not sure.
