I’ve been having problems with what seems to be the cIOS’s after having finished my portable. Not only can I not access the System menu hacks from priiloader, but applications such as SaveGame Manager GX don’t even work. I tried reinstalling the cIOS’s with a WAD manager (yes I know how dumb that is). Now the Wii only ever boots to ‘RVLoader bootloader 01’. I can’t even get into the safe menu. How screwed am I?
I have another working trimmed Wii I could switch out if I really need to, it just bothers me that the one currently installed can still turn on, output proper video and audio, but only can’t get past the RVLoader bootloader 01 error. It never even makes it to mentioning an error with USB.
(reset button also doesn’t help, it only effectively refreshes the screen, no priiloader no nothing)
EDIT: I ended up swapping out for a different Wii, and despite cIOS having been installed in the same way, this Wii has no cIOS related problems
