RVL-PMS or recommendations

Looks like I just missed the stock of RVL-PMS-Lites (by a day or two, RIP). Anyone have an extra one they made and would be willing to sell? Or any other ideas on how to get one? Bummed that the lead times for all the parts are looking like year long waits

Will the custom regulator setup work in place of the RVL-PMS? I do already have a 1, 1.15, and 3.3 V regulator setup for testing. What advantage does the RVL give over that?

The rvl-pms just has a bunch of quality of life features to improve your portable like battery overcharge protection, plug and play, battery level indicator, thermal protection, etc. You very well can just use regular pth regulators to power your Wii as they will work even if they are a little bigger and aren't as fancy as a rvl pms. Though, if I could make a recommendation to get/make an rvl-psu as they are a lot slimmer and more compact than custom regs if you do deside on not using an rvl pms.
