I'm confused, is this emulator going to be for the PS2 to play PSP games, or for the PSP to play PS2 games? Because I can tell you now that the PSP will never be able to run PS2 games. It's simply not possible for the hardware.

I can also say that a ps2 can't run psp games at full speed either. When serious pcs can't run a psp at full speed, a ps2 definitely can't

Get a ps3 and mod it
If you get a phat one then it supports the full range of ps2 emulators and then also works perfectly with psp emulators too
