Hello everyone, I am having a strange problem with my Ashida that I am building where the batteries won't charge fully. I have tryied troubleshooting the problem for quite a while and that is what I tryied:
1. I've changed some settings on RVLoader, like increasing the charging amps, to encourage it to charge
2. I've bought a 60w PD complient charger to see if that was the problem (a Amazon Basics one-port GaN USB-C Wall Charger w/PD)
3. Rewired the hole thing to check if it was bad soldering
4. Tryied to understand the PMS2 and PMS-PD3 circuits with no success
4. Seached through the forums if there was a solution for this
Unfortunatly all of those atempts didn't work and now I am out of ideas.
The battery will charge up to around 3.4V and no more than that and I measured the current through the battery while charging and it goes up to 0.2A (as it was almost fully charged). Apart from this problem the Ashida works perfectly and I've alredy played a little with it. Now my Ashida is disasembled as I wanted to make sure it has nothing to do with the wii trim, as of note the trim is NOT the problem as the problem of the batteries still occurs even without the trim mounted and soldered.
If someone needs a photo of the Ashida or any specific parts please tell me.
