Several months ago I saw an Ashida. I was amazed by it and wonder how I had not seen it earlier. After browsing the net I arrived here. I decided to embark on the journey of bulding one since
Wesk, along with some other great group of smart people that helped, made it possible for people to build their own. I didn't realize I probably should have started a worklog when I had begun, however I was still familarizing myself with the site at the time. Plus I was eagered to get started

This is as far as I have went.

I realzied I wanted screen controls after the fact as I wasn't aware I might have needed. I didn't incorporate into the shell, more buttons, and wasn't going to repurpose
any other buttons as I decided to use them as is. I removed the menu tactile switches and connected board that drove the menu to video driver board to use the remote.

Even though I had the audio jack, and internal speakers I decided to include a bluetooth module for audio. Added a button to activare/deactivate (located top right)

I haven't done alot of testing as of yet but this is where I ended and wanted to show that I was utilizing the help given/my progress.

I do appreciate all the quick responses and the help that was provided.

This is a great community.

I will continue to work on this.

Very nice. Relocating the IR sensor was a good idea
