Hi everyone, I'm venturing into ps2 and I decided to make a portable ps2 with a 90004 to avoid using regulators but it's giving me a bit of a headache, I saw that @Fly_5 made one with this model and it came out well so I decided on this one, the thing is that there is no video so I put some status LEDs and it seems to start but it turns off after a few seconds, with the multimeter it shows continuity with ground on the 2.5v and 1.25v lines, I don't know if it's a short or it's because of the processor, if there's someone who knows the reference values on the lines it would be good for me to check that, thanks a big greeting

Maybe it’s a trick of the light, but is there a hole blown into this IC?
Also, I would absolutely advise you not to try to turn it on again until you have the short on your voltage lines resolved.
If it’s not this OC, try sanding the ended of your board again. The edges of your board near the AVE look to be a little jagged. Take another pass with some sandpaper and let us know if it helps!

Hello, thanks for being here. I checked the edges throughout the cut and I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. The IC seems to have some dirt on top. I cleaned it and it seems to be fine. On the 1.25v line it sounds like continuity but it gives me resistance. That's why I was asking if you knew the values so I could check.

Hi guys, greetings from Spain, I am pleased to tell you that I have already solved the problem, there was a shorted capacitor on the 2.5 line, it drove me a little crazy and when I had no hope of seeing it work I was lucky to find it,
