Question Compatibility with 3rd party ps2 controller

I found these ps2 controller chips for sale on AliExpress. I'm wondering if anyone has used them, and if they have compatibility issues with any games? for example if they don't work on games that than need variable resistance buttons, or a ps2 controller.

Those have been widely used in PS2 portables and are regarded as a good controller replacement. They don't support pressure sensitive inputs, but there are so few games that use that functionality and most of them can be played without it (with some difficulty)

yeah, I was looking at those ones. Do they have good game compatibility? because I have never seen one of these in a portable before.
